From May 8 to 16, Vienna once again became a hotspot for the international startup scene.
Austria’s capital became the epicenter of the global startup scene for the fifth time as ViennaUP brought together startups, investors, talents, and creative minds from around the world.
More than 40 program partners hosted around 50 events, focusing on key future topics such as innovation, creativity, and technology. Over the course of eight festival days, participants had the opportunity to engage in cross-industry discussions on current issues, connect with like-minded individuals, and expand their international networks. They also experienced Vienna in a unique way—whether at events held in renowned historic locations or during the "Coffee House Sessions," which combined networking with the city’s famous coffeehouse tradition.
ViennaUP is the largest digital startup event in Central Europe to date, bringing together international and local key players from the startup ecosystem. In addition to its core themes—Health Tech & Life Sciences, Social Entrepreneurship, Smart Cities & Clean Tech, Creative Industries, Smart Manufacturing, and FinTech—the festival offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience Vienna’s thriving startup culture up close.
